Summer-Sunshine Lady Fair

Summer-sunshine lady fair
Awakes me with her laughter.
Strands of gold shine in her hair,
My heart goes tripping after.

Wings of wisdom on the air
Release the chains that bound me.
Never-ending love we share
When her embrace surrounds me.
Now I don't know just what you've done,
Nor even how you've done it.
But every heart is for someone;
This heart of mine you've won it.
And I've been thinking lately,
I'd like to settle down.
You've helped me get my
Feet back on the ground

The roads we've both been walking
Are bound to meet somewhere.
I love you,
Summer-sunshine lady fair.
Now I don't know just what you've done,
Nor even how you've done it.
A brand-new day has just begun;
Your summer smile's begun it.
