Kingdom

It's sad but true, the things they do.
But the house was old, and rotting, too.
They built a new one across the town,
To take its place when it falls down.

They started early, were up at dawn,
With bricks to be laid and lumber sawn.
It truly is a sight to see.
What a lovely house it's going to be.

When its ready for living, it will really be fun.
They say that the people will live there as one.
And above the door, a sign in the sun
Says: Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.
